They use almost the same type measure units all over the World. It’s probably the traders of the World, like the Sea People, who have influenced this, as the need of units that anyone can use and understand are most important to them.
But there are of course some local differences, as in countries with much gold, gold coins are not worth so much. And in places where people are small, a “man’s length” will be shorter than normal.
